PAL/NTSC BUTTON ON REMOTE.WHAT DO I DO WITH IT?
I have just bought a Cambridge Audio DVD300. Very nice too. Multi-region etc. as it`s from Richer Sounds. But the Remote has a PAL/NTSC button on it. Sorry to be ignorant but what use is this button? Anyone?
RE: PAL/NTSC BUTTON ON REMOTE.WHAT DO I DO WITH IT?
i noticed this button on the handset of the Mico Clasica 20, I can only assume thai it`s a way of manually selecting R1 / R2. If I`m wrong, I stand corrected!!!
RE: PAL/NTSC BUTTON ON REMOTE.WHAT DO I DO WITH IT?
I should imagine that this is a way of getting your DVD player to convert the native format of the disc to the format you are watching on your TV, indicating there must be an NTSC to PAL/PAL to NTSC converter on board.
However, most TVs made in the last five years or so can handle both, so you may find that the player is set to MULTI or AUTO by default.

Nice one, Chris ;-)
Of course, some US `740 owners are a bit more cunning :
