Hello Folks
I need help please. My PS3 is currently connected to a Samsung LE40A656 LCD TV which is 1080p. No issues there.
However, when I took it over to my friend`s house and tried connecting it to his TV, a Samsung PS50Q96HD, a 720p Plasma TV, it came up with a blank screen with the message "Mode Not Supported". Is there anyway around this? Would I have to manually set the PS3 through the 1080p TV to 720p or something like this? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

You can either do that, or hold down the power button for a while when you switch it on. This sets the PS3 back to its default settings (576i etc). Bit of a pain having to change everything back to your preferred settings, so best to change the res before you go.
