Page 1 of SVCD on Encore 450 (Clayts?)

I have been trying to create some SVCDs from my DVcamcorder. They play OK on my PC using power DVD, but won`t play on the Encore without "jumping" across the screen. Has anyone been sucessful, do I need a particular encoder, I`m using the one built into pinnacle ?

This is probably a question for Nezza42 at the Area 450 Forums - I`m next to useless on "creative" things !
