Denon 2802 receiver

I am thinking of getting the Denon 2802 as I want to have DTS-ES and DD-EX but don`t need need 7.1 sound as I have a diamond shape living room where the back of the room forms a point (if that makes sense) . Also the room isn`t very large so i don`t need loads of power - basically a six speaker setup would fill the room with sound nicely, covering all sounds fields.

Has anyone bought this amp? Does it sound good with music? I am thinking of getting this amp to play all of my movies (main reason),TV, CDs, my decks, computer MP3`s etc. Is there a better amp to do everything I want?

Any advise would be appreciated.

I am also interested in info about this amp and considering buying it. I read some good reviews on the Net but those are written by owners, who`re obviously not going to bad-press something they spent a lot of money on. I haven`t found any non-biassed reviews in magazines, etc, about this product. If anyone knows where I can read a review, please let me know. I need to be convinced before I part with £550.

Thanks,

Sarmad.
