Page 1 of Can I turn my region 2 DVd players in a multi-region one?

is there any chance I can modify my current DVD player in a multiregion player? If it is possible...who should I call in for such a delicate thing...and If I can`t could you kindly tell me which might be the best multiregion dvd player(considering I`m buying it in europe not in america)..and do these multi region ones hide something that I should know..somtehing like"it won`t work unless u have"..or stuff like that

So sorry I didn`t mention it...it`s a philips 750.
I just now read the tips..but I don`t really know what`s all that about..where am I supposed to buy that remote..and will my dvd player become multiregion or will it turn to a region 1 dvd only?..and should I need to change any plugs after the operation?thanks so much..

It might help if you actually tell us what dvd player you have. :)
