Don`t buy dvd ram as it is totally incompatible with standalone dvd players. Instead get a Pioneer A03 which with the proper software will burn a properly formatted DVD-Video onto a DVD-R which will play on the vast majority of dvd players A blank DVD-R is only 3 or 4 quid and coming down in price every week. Also dont expect to do a straight copy of a store bought DVD as the blanks only hold 4.7GB
