many thanks

shel

Wharfedale is an Argos exclusive brand. I have an earlier model of the recorder and I`m very impressed with it. I believe there is a region hack for it.

Thanks for that,it is now a case of trying to track one down and find out what the hack is?

You could try the various Wharfedale hacks already published in the Hack section. One might work. On the other hand, you might find it`s better to use the machine as a dedicated recorder and buy a cheap(ish) hackable player for playback purposes. It`ll save the laser in the recorder over time.

Well I am trying to reduce the amount of equipment under the tv, currently 4 items, so to combine a multi region dvd with the freeview, would be a bonus. I have a multi region dvd at the moment, but hte wharfedale has an upscaler, which is a plus point.
