i got poor picture quality due to the blocky pixes could it be my tv that causes this its about 21/2 yrs old or would that not be a factor and its somthing else?
ER......somthing else player probaly, what make you got?
i dont think its the player because it works fine on a diff tv i was just wondering if i had to get a more modern one or somthing
Does the tv have any digital processing (100Hz technology) etc as older versions of digital processing can cause blocky artifacts to become more apparent
any 21 year old tv is unlikely to do anything well. Least of all interact with a 5 year old technology.
I think he meant "two and a half"! Makes you wish keyboards had a fraction key.

any one else got any ideas its a shneider 855 dvd player and a daewoo 21 inch nicam television seems to work ok on the other tv in the house get the smae problem with a rowa 280 (remote hackable model) on the daewoo tv
To behonest mate, I think these blocky pixels are unavoidable on most DVDs.
I myself know exactly what your talking about. In darker scenes (although not always) backgrounds, or large arease of colour look blockly in movement. I`ve noticed this on almost all my films, except things like Toy story or Shrek, which are perfect of course.
And I doubt its got anything to do with your player, or Tele. I have a Sony S735. playing on brand new Sony TV, and I`m still getting a those blocks.
Although I think its alittle off, that the blocks were not nearly as obvious on my old LG3200e and older tele.
money can not buy perfection
