Aside from your two front teeth, what hardware do you really, really want and are hoping and praying that a long forgotten Great Aunt is gonna come up with the goods, rather than a three-armed knitted jumper two sizes too big for you ?

Mine are :

Denon AVR 1802 or 3802 (cheers Westy - I`ve fallen in love with these behemoths)

Toshiba 28ZD07B - nice telly for my front room, with component video inputs - mmmmmmmmmmmm

Wharfedale Diamonds : 2 X 8.1, 1 X centre, 2 X 8.3

Well I`m pretty happy with my vision setup, and the basic part of my sound is in place, i.e. DD/DTS amp, but my speaker setup is a real mongrel. Various Pioneer and Sony Hi-Fi kit and a subwoofer made up of a 1971 Pioneer Bass speaker driven by my previous surround amp.
This lot does a fairly respectable job, that sub really rattles the foundations, (It`s in a corner, cone facing the floor!), but a dedicated Home cinema speaker set would I suspect have a little more control.

Hmmm....

Well Clayton. what do you reckon the bot who`s (almost!) got it all wants for christmas? What i really really want is a great big Seleco projector with 9ft Stewart Filmscreen with perforations so i can put the speakers behind in proper Odeon style. Then it`d have to be another subwoofer(another Yammy 320), so i can have even better control and precision in the bass. Then i`d have to really have the Denon AV1SE for sheer power. Then Clayts could have my 3802 for silly money-nothing like looking after your mates eh? Oh and i`d sell Clayts my Toshiba as well, i know how much he REALLY wants one!

Well, being one of four brothers it gets very expensive. So this year we have decided to abstain from purchasing each other gifts to cut costs. The the family is getting bigger and bigger.

So, this year, all I want is T2 Ultimate Edition from the wifes brother.

Some s*** house gave my car windscreen a right good wellying.... So a nice second hand motor that WONT get vandalised again would be nice...... A Goodmans DVD3500PK hack wouldnt go amiss neither, And another Wide screen, Sony or something like that, Nothing like quality.

In the process of buying a house at the moment, so no furniture, TV, kitchen appliances etc.

No 1 priority is a WS TV, though I think the missus wants something stupid like a carpet/bed/sofa etc?
