Page 1 of Recommend a DVD recorder? and place to buy it?

I am looking at the Phillips 3380, I can get it for £117 at Woolworth, I work there so I get a 10% discount.

I seen that Dixon sell it for £102, with £4 delivery charge, so maybe I would get it there, not sure how long delivery takes.

Any recommendation for a DVD recorder and where to get one? I looked at Argos, Woolworths, Currys and Dixon.

Phillips DVD recorders used to have a terrible reputation.
They`ve maybe improved,but I still wouldn`t touch one with a 40 foot pole.
I`d go for a Panasonic and I`d buy it online.
In fact,I have..twice ! 8)

I got my Panasonic in http://www.richersounds.com/.

I got it in an actual shop, but took a print out from a web site doing same model cheaper, and they price matched.

I like many other ppl here would recommend Panasonic to anyone.

I`ve seen them in my local Sainsburys, but they prob wouldn`t be multi region
