Sony Laptop - Can the DVD drive play multi-region DVDs

Does anyone know if the DVD player on the FX401 is capable of playing multi-region dvds if you have the correct software?

Can anyone recommend a website/link to download some good dvd software.

Go to http://www.firmware.fr.st/ for all pcdvd issues. There is a forum and links to firmware and software.
