Probably going to buy the s800 system. Not sure which tv to buy. Thinking about the Sony 32" WEGA or maybe the JVC. Haven`t decided on the 100hz issue.
Any thoughts, much appreciated (this is a very big buy for me!)

I just bought the s800 system - brilliant and great to look at. I wanted the Sony FQ75 32" but settled for my wifes favourite, a Philips 32PW9566 which is a lovely looking tv. Just got it today (£1,175 from John Lewis after price match brought it down from their price of £1,499! Plus 5 year warranty!) Lovely picture. Haven`t quite mastered all the functions yet, but v. happy so far. Good luck!

Thanks. I`m looking at the FQ75 too. Also hoping to price match at john lewis! Just had an offer of a 42" plasma, so I`m going to check that out too.

What are John Lewis` requirements for price match? Will they match online prices if you provide evidence?

They`ve stopped doing price match on "pure" internet stores (as of 21st Oct) - I understand that they will now only price match retailers that have a high street presence - not sure whether they would then only match the "in store" price as opposed to an "on line special" price.
