I have just noticed that my player seems to be causing very slight scratches on my disk`s. Does anyone else have this problem ? I have read somewhere that you can buy clear covers to protect the disks does anyone know why they can be purchased ?

I owned this same model recently for only 2 months and didnt notice this problem and never noticed that problem. Only thought i have on this is that maybe there is some dirt or grit in there somewhere and the discs are getting scratched when they spin round. Have you had any other problems with this player ? I owned 2 in the space of a month and neither of them were any good.
