Problem with remote controlling both player and recorder.

I have a Panny DVD-S29 player and DMR-E30 recorder - when I use the remote to control one, the other wakes up.
Any idea how I can use each with their own remote without affecting the other??

look on back page of manual under remote control code. this will tell you how to change remote code to stop it interferring with other panasonic equipment.
