Hi People,
I have just bought a Logix3000 dvd player, i had to take it back 2 weeks after due to the fact that the graphics card was faulty. After being told by a mate that this player could disable macrovision, i give it a go, but when i returned the player to the supplier, they told me that the older version was capable of this feature and that my version was the later 1, not capable of dasabling macrovision. Is there n e body who knows of a way to disable the macrovision, i have been told that there is a file on the net that when burned to cd and then placed in the dvd player will overcome this problem.

Many thanx
Max

Join the user group as toy car suggests and read the faq`s and forum. All the info you need is there. The Logix is quite popular so there is a lot of info on it.

Hi Toy_Car
Thanx for you reply, but i am not up to date with the firmware changes to my machine, i don`t really know wat i am looking for, and i do not want to use the incorrect programme, just in case i kill the machine, it confuses me that there r so many dvd players just like mine, same machine but different model names, is there a certain programme i can write to cd to cd that will get rid of the makro ?? In the message forum, does vcr friendly mean getting rid of the macro and being able to record a dvd onto cd without the interference :???

Many thanx again

Max
