i rang tosh today,not very helpful.but in the end i was given another number, 01276 694575, apparantly its their warrenties dept.the lady i spoke to was very helpful and i am awaiting a tosh authuorised repairer to call to make an appointment to repair my noisey drive.
i will post later if i get a result.

I wrote to them about the problem and they advised i needed to either contact the retailer i purchased it from if it was still in its 12month warranty or if outside of that contact one of there repair centres.

Schozzer - What you gonna do if the new drive is as ` noisy ` as your existing one ? Obviously I`m not privvy to how noisy your drive is at the moment. I`m just wondering how one is supposed to gauge if one`s drive is noisy or not. I`m guessing it`s obviously noisy enough to drive you barmy, which mine isn`t, so I won`t bother asking the shop about mine and I`ve forgotten what the point of my message was......
