I STILL dont know whether to buy a Sony NS300 or Toshy SD210, Iv read loads of reviews all saying they are both good players. I posted a thread a few days ago but only got a couple of replies ( appreciated they were). Come on i need more juice! There must be more owners out there who can tell me what they think of their players. I will get round to testing them out myself sometime but still, i need your help.....Anyone know any other good websites that review dvd players or oops- shouldnt i ask......

I dont own either, but if you search the posts there are LOADS of people who highly rate the Toshiba. And Sonys arent remote hackable, you`ll have to get it chipped if you want multi region , which will of course cost you extra.

Tosh has to be modded too, but at least there are plenty of places to get them form ready cooked

I have the toshiba 210. Its a great player but i find the drive noisy whilst playing. Given the choice again i would go for a sony

Yep one bad thing like that (noisy drive) can also make it the WORST player on this planet...

Id consider selling off my Scan player but i want too too desperately see the image quality first, if its a BIG difference like everyone claims id get it:)
The Tosh has scooped every award/top spot in every mag ive seen. not too sure how it compares too the Sony model but there was a Sony mag in the new what hi-fi mag and it did get 5/5 like the tosh player.

You better read the latest What hi-fi mag, i think its that one anyhow.. does a review of the tosh, sony one... both hit 5/5 so u better check !
