Audio from DVD

bigtimefred (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 18th March 2006, 10:48

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I couldn`t see a more appropriately titled one and I know there are some very experienced folk on here.

I have made a two hour DVD recording on my Ellicrap 950 and would like to know if it is possible to strip the audio, edit it slightly and record this onto CD`s. Not interested in the video content.
Is there any software around that I could use. ?

Forgot to add that I have an LG 4163 in the PC

hello,

I use "IMToo DVD Audio Ripper" to get audio from DVDs.
I personallty find it easier than otehr rippers.

It`s not freeware, but its well worth the money I think...(although if you look carefully enough, you may find it for free ;) )

Neil.

This is something I would rarely do,so I downloaded the trial version of DVD Audio Extractor, did what I needed and it worked fine.
You could do the same and perhaps buy the full version if its something you do regularly

Thanks for the replies, I will have a play with both recommendations.
