have a look at http://www.7thzone.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?id_page=matsu its an alternative to the playstation 2 (nintendo are much better anyway) Its very small, look at the size of the cd tray for an idea of its size, if its dimensions are the same as the original gamecube it is the size of 10 cd cases stacked up.

Not if it plays DVD`s like my mate`s playstation 2 does... It drives him round the bend. Bit of a con saying it doubles as a DVD player really.Must be to justtify the ridiculous price tag. Yeah it does it, but it`s a poor substitute for the real thing.

I wouldnt buy it no, I mean its not a DVD player......its.......its a MONSTER!
Hybrid hardware like that is usually doomed. Even if it did play DVDs fine you would be better off getting a normal Gamecube for games and a normal DVD player for films.
I mean, its twice as likely to go wrong (erm...maybe) and upgrading would be an impossibility, probably.
I wouldnt bother.
