Hi, I just got a JVC widescreen TV for my room bujt I have a problem. Whenever a widescreen programme, DVD or programme on Sky comes on and it switches to full mode (ie 16:9) there is this constanbt whistling and I dont know how to get rid of it. Its not much of a problem when I`m watching a film loudly but watching stuff at a lower volume is torture. Please give me some advice as its driving me crazy.

BTW when i first got it it did this but died off after a minute or so.

RTM (Return to manufacturer) - unless the TV is steam-powered ;-)

Just before you take it back check you SCART connections as the JVC TV`s sometimes `squash` them out a bit and this causes the noise.
