Can anyone recommend a DVD that is hackable via remote of similar or better quality to the toshiba 210e. priced around £200. I don`t really feel comfortable with hardware chip modifications.. I`d also like to play CD-R
thanks Beth

I`d recomend the LG3350E I paid £215 for mine from BigSave.com - has served me exellently, plays CD-R/CD-RW and supports MP3 playback too. Also has built-in 5.1 decoder. Has a remote hack for multi-region.

I`d second that. Several magazines rate it as the best under £300 or even £400, yet it is only £200 ish. I`ve had mine 6 months, and I`m really pleased.
