Page 1 of Need Help recording to DVD using pioneer 433H

Hey,

Got the machine and all now but, when i try and record straight to dvd from TV (sky) the player comes up with cannot record!

Ive looked in the manual but it just says that its an error with the disk, so i tried another but same thing. The Disks are Datawrite yellow -R, Is there a problem with these??

Apart from the obvious question of why bother recording direct to dvd when you have a HDD device to do it properly,are you sure everything is set up correctly connections wise,and that you are not trying to record from Box Office?
Don`t forget to enable MN recording in the "initial setup",then you can adjust your recording quality to suit the running time of the programme
