None at all just go mine last week from unbeatable (£275) very happy with it.
PS you will need to purchase a digital optical cable to connect it to your DVD. (You probably know this already).

P.P.S Eric have you got any speaker stands for yours as I got some from argos but they were a bit bulky so I took them back.

P.P.P.S My neighbours are moving house! No more cats Whooohooo!

I am a complete newbie when it comes to amps. I have seen the reviews on this player and am seriously cosidering buying one. I have a few queeries though. I currently have a prologic 28w Grundig tv and a Cyberhome adm512 dvd player. Firstly the dvd player has a digital coaxal connetion on the back and audio connections to separate speakers. If I get the amp do I just connect the dvd player to the Sony amp using the coaxal cable? Secondly my wife is a bit of a ludite when it comes to all of this techie stuff so if I connect my tv to the amp can she still watch/listen to the tellie without using the amp?

finaly does anyone know how loud the sound is cos 25w does sound a litle puny, I have 100w spakers connected as fronts on my tv 8ohms I think could I use these on the system ?
