Hi rogd0262,
I am writing this regarding the Sony HTK 475, you said you were ordering it. Did you receive it yet? If so how does it sound and are in impressed with it?
I am currently in a dilemma what sytem to get, the shortlist is the HTK 475 or the Digitheatre DTS. As people on this forum do not know much about the 475, could you perhaps shed some light on the subject?

Thanks

P.S. If anyone else has any comments that may aid me please add them

Have you given the Yamaha VS-10 a look yet?
I had shortlisted VideologicDTS, SonyHTK475 + YAMAHAHTiB40
But instead went for the Yamaha VS-10, it was £50 cheaper and is a more solid looking unit compared to the VideologicDTS..........
It also sounds very good too, I`ve not heard VideologicDTS but I`ve heard that it and the VS-10 are very similar in sound quality.

The general opinion (on this foum) was the Sony kits just didn`t sound as good so I didn`t bother witht that one
Look up the VS-10 at,
www.area450.co.uk (home cinema `starter` setup)
www.yamaha-audio.co.uk (under products, home cinema)
www.leconcepts.com (£299.99)

I though about the VS-10 but as it has no digital coaxial input its not possible as my dvd player has no optical out.
