Can anyone help? If I burn stuff on to a dual layer DVD-R from my PC, does my domestic DVD recorder/player need to have the specific capability to read dual layer disks, or can any DVD player read them. Thank you

Hi
most commercially available dvd`s are dual layer anyway (dvd-9).
however, not all dvd players will playback recordable dvd+r/dl disks.
i think it`s probably down to the reflectivity of the burnt disk.
