Page 1 of Bush digital Freeview Adaptor - palm size - advise wanted please

Has anyone tried these digital tv adaptors that plug into the TV scart socket.? They also have 7day tv schedule too :)

Bush DFTA1000. They`re palm size (10cmx7.5cmx2cm deep). Makro (Cash and carry) are doing them for £39.99 + Vat.

Wondered how it works with a "signal sender" box? or if there are cheaper brands around.

If it plugs into a SCART (& from the look of it the leads connected to it are UHF, Power & IR sensor) its unlikely to have any RCA connectors\SCART for connecting to a video.

Maplin do a "through connector" that has RCA connectors & thats what I use to transmit Sky upstairs (& then daisy chain it through to all the kids TV`s).

I was looking for something to replace my Setpal which i think is on its way out and thought the above would do.

Mind you if you can`t record to DVD or Video easily enough then its no good for me :( . Thanks for getting back.

I`ve just ordered one of these. I`ll give a review once I`ve tested it. With regards to recording from it though, could you not simply plug it into a scart socket on your video/DVD recorder?

Plug the output leads from the breakout box into the recorder. ;)
