Ok I know I should have looked first but anyhow, I went to Curry`s today and bought the LG 3350E for £250. However it was last one in stock and the remote control was missing. They said they will try and find it or order a new one (which could take as long as 2 weeks). I`m thinking of taking it back cos you can`t play VCDs. I know there is a hack, but I wondering to get a multiregion Tosh SD210E instead. The LG has pretty good Mp3 functionality, but I don`t know if I can play the Mp3 tracks randomly. Does The Tosh? Another thing is I want to play SVCD, but I think only the Yelo 800 has this function.
So do I keep the LG 3350E or get another one instead? if so which one? I want good mp3 and variable bit VCD compatablity. Am I asking too much?

I think you`ll find that a lot of platers handle SVCDs, including the Cyberhome 512 (£119 from Richer Sounds).
