JVC Surround Sound

Muzzle (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 22nd April 2005, 06:43

Good morning... does anyone know the answer to this...?

I have a JVC Dolby Pro-Logic telly with all the speakers. The centre and left and right speakers are built in, the subwoofer sits on the back of the telly, and there are two separate rear speakers.

Now, my girlfriend has just moved in, and brought her JVC Dolby 5.1 DVD player/home theatre setup with her, also with all the speakers. We`d like to use her system but instead of using her separate centre and left/right speakers, we want to use the ones that are built into my telly... is that possible? If so, how would we go about it?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I also have a JVC telly with dolby surround.
You can use the TV`s speakers as part of a seperate 5.1 system, but I`m sure I`m right in thinking you can only use them as a glorified centre speaker.
I think you would still have to use your GF`s left and right.
The TV`s manual explains how to do it.
