Page 1 of can`t read +r

hi got a philips dvd recorder 610 which i record on when i record on +rw no problem at all with playing on the 3 player i got in the house but when i record on tdk+r they will only play on the philips 610 not on any off the other payers i got in the house can`t understand why it won`t read on the other players?

You need to finalize the +R disk before it will play in any other machine.

Finalizing a disk means you will not be able to do any more recording on it.

+RW will play back with out finalizing the disc, +R will need finalizing before you can play them on another machine, once finalized you will not be able to record on them again, read your manual it will explain.:) :)
