Wish to take Yamaha AV-Reciver & Wharfedale DVD to Canada

Can any one help me please, I have a Yamaha 596RDS amp + NS-P300 speaker set & Wharfedale 350 (it`s the one with DTS), and I wish to take them to Canada with me when I move in about 2 months time. Does anyone know if it`s easy to transform the power supply from 240v down to 110v, or would it be easier to sell it here and buy new stuff there, (don`t want to really as it`s quite new!). Thanks

you could buy yourself a stepdown transformer, that would do the job for you .

i bought my playstation 2 many moons ago , and the transformer cost me £70 it does various volts a bit pricey though but most of them you can up or down the volts , and that will do the job for you , tandy will sell these transformers , as will any shop that deals with
imported game consoles , and imported dvd players , but be warned some of them heat up after a short time so ask when buying ,
cos my playstation 2 one was very warm after half an hour , but a friend had one that never heated up , so ask anyway m8 , and also
never leave them on all night just incase of fires m8 , anyway hope this was of some use too you , and good luck ...
