I pressume that your PS2 is connected to an RGB scart. This causesa green screen - Apparently, the machine is not compliant with RGB so you`ll have to put it into a different scart socket to watch movies.

I understand as a games console it can be played through RGB.

This is a total cock up by Sony. If this is the case www.techtronics.com offer PS2 upgrade packages to get around this.

The best way, I`ve found to connect up the PS2 for both games and film`s is by using a S-VHS lead. I had a nightmare getting hold of one (had to drive 80 miles) but I pressume they are more easily available now. If your T.V. does not have an S-Vhs input try another scart socket on you T.V. If you still have no joy mail us on kuelbmit[at]moc.liamtoh

The PS2 disable RGB out for DVD Video playback and defaults to component video thats why it appears green.

Although i dont have a green screen for the films on my PS2, does anyone know how i can connect my PS2 to my TV, so that it changes scart automatically????
I always have to do it manually.
