MiCO Espejo R311

emccall (Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 30th December 2004, 22:38

I have just bought the MiCO Espejo R311 but I have been having problems. I am trying to follow the instructions but I find them quite complicated.

I have NTL and trying to work the connection from it to the TV via the recorder. I think I have got this working. I am able to press monitor and it shows the shows. Can someone please direct me just in case I might be wrong.

Also, I have tried to copy something but the recording only seems to last for a few minutes then it cuts off as well monitoring the TV station.

Can someone please help.

Many thanks. 8)

I recently obtained an R311i and a kind gentleman on this forum talked me through the connection scenarios etc.

I`ll post a `heads up` message to that thread and perhaps he`ll be able to help here ?

Thanks,

I have had a look but I am still having problems.

1 When playing a DVD it just cuts off after a few minutes

2 When recording from the TV it cuts off and stops

I would like to get this corrected so here is how I have set this up (I have NTL).

NLT out to DVD in
DVD out to TV in

This still does not work.

I have two scart cables, can I use these

There are two sockets on the NTL box
two sockets at the back of the DVD player
one at the back of the TV

Any help would be grateful.

Check all the obvious things like loose plugs etc..
Failing that you might have a faulty unit :(
