I hope so :-)
I picked one up today from Argos for £25. They are sold elsewhere for £40 so while they are a budget player they shouldn`t be complete rubbish. I am told there is some issue about a software driven engine or something like that but it is only for my kids and if it is really crap it will go back.

excellent for the money ... plays my infiniti bluetop dvd-r with no problems :D
