Any Video Sender Recommendations?

iom_Chris (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Friday, 19th November 2004, 11:49

Hi,

I`ve just got Sky in the living room, and I was after a video sender so I could watch it in my room.

I got one from Index for £40, but as soon as I plugged it into the sky box, the picture in the living room went dead (but it was on in my bedroom) - I thought it would enable me to have it on in both rooms?

I think I need one with 2 scart sockets to pass-through, but if anyone has any recommendations as to what would be the best thing, then that would be great.

Cheers,

Chris.

Chris

Try your local Lidl. Their set allows you to connect the sender to the scart on any device and then plug the normal scart lead DVD/SKY to TV in to the unit thus allowing viewing in the normal manner and also in another room. The set works very well and allied to the fact that it has a three year warranty it is only £25 so well worth a try. It also has three remote senders that allow you to operate up to three devices from the second room.

Cheers Choagy, but my local Lidl is in Kendal (I live on the Isle of Man :o )

After a bit of searching at the weekend, I plumped for the Philips Wireless Video Sender, available for £60 from Argos. It`s a bit expensive, but it does the job fine.

Thanks for your help,

Chris.
