Hi all,
I`m looking to buy a standalone, eassy to use, foolproof GPS system for my car, any reccommendations?
I`ve had a look at these

Are they any good?
Any advice appreciated

TomTom Go, is a very good unit, and you can add the Safety Camera database to it aswell.
Check out the forums on this site http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/index.php

There are so many to choose from, how can I differentiate from the good brands from the crap ones?
RE: Help. Advice needed for GPS
Go to Global Positioning Systems, they have good pricing and tons of advice.
All their feedback seems good too.
It all depends on your wants n needs.
I want an "all in one" PDA style that can be used walking or driving, but I want seriously good accuracy from the software in regard to street names, which is where I`m having my trouble.
TomTom go has brilliant write ups, but to me, it`s just too big and only moves between vehicles. I`d prefer the PDA mobility.
Jimbo : oÞ
(Mitac Mio168 and NavMan PiN are the same units, btw, good on most fronts, but bad from the non-user changeable battery)
