Help Wanted

I am new to the world of DVD and am looking to purchase my first player. I am looking to spend as little as poss and get as much as I can. About £150. Able to hack for multi region, play cd`s & cd-r`s. My TV is a Sony and has scart and s-video. I`ve heard to go for s-video as it is better quality. LG3200 and 3000e, Phillips, Hitachi and many more. What is the best bet and is cheap generally cheerfull.

£130 will buy you Home Entertainment magazine`s newest Best Budget Player the CyberHome ADM512 from http://www.richersounds.com

I don`t own the player, or work for Richer, so any comments about the player would be well received - any owners out there care to comment ?

Best:
DVI (well only by expensive custom mod)
Component
Scart RGB
S-Video
SCART S-Video
SCART Composite
Composite
Worst:

Most Sony TVs can handle RGB Scart so it`s best to use that if the tv and player support it otherwise use S-Video (RGB Scart has twice the colour bandwidth as S-Video)
