Where on High Street - Region free and Macrovision disabled?

Is there any make/model of player available from any of the High Street shops which can be made region-free (both automatic and manual selection - to cope with the latest RCE-1 disks) and can have Macrovision disabled, out-of-the-box, using secret codes.
I`ve looked at the various threads here and elsewhere but all seem to require ordering from a mail order outlet which is usually many miles away or, having bought a standard unit from a shop, it needs to be sent away to have a mod fitted.

Try PowerHouse, they had a few Samsung 709`s for 170 quid in Stratford Upon Avon

The Samsung 709 and the Ariston 2000 (from Richer Sound) are the only two players ever to be sold on the high street to have these features.
