Page 1 of trouble with plu2 player and adult settings

I have a plu2 player which i bought from ebay about a year ago. I had a problem with it not reading any disks so I reset it to default factory settings and this cleared the problem. On thing is now the player has defaulted to child restrictions in the settings. I have read the manual from cover to cover and cannot get the player to change to adult settings as i dont know what the default pin number is to change it any ideas please

Oh crap...I used to have this...and dunno what I did with it!

Don`t hold your breath mailing Ellion, I tried that asking about firmware upgrades and didn`t even get a reply.

Funnily enough, the company who sold them via ebay (PlayTra DE by any chance?) no longer appears to exist.

Good player though, but I think mine is about to go to a friend and be replaced by a Divx capable unit.

got mine from playade got two players from them in the end and only paid for one so sold the other one after 6 months as they hadnt asked for it back. you say you want to get a divx player but the plu2 is a divx player.

Not the Ellion 650V model, it doesn`t do Divx.

There were three or four units at the time, think it was the 350 or summat and another that did Divx.
(They`re listed on the ellion site anyways)

Just checked the 650V manual, which is go into the parental control menu, select the required level, and if this is a first time password change, no password exists, therefore key in your preferred pin number, then do it again to confirm and wallah!!

Depends if yours is a 650V though, might be worth a look on the ellion site for your model :)
