Anyone out there got one and is it any good. It`s selling in dixons for £350 but i`ve seen it online for £264. I`m looking for a sound system that has DTS included and this looks like a good bit of kit.

It`s brilliant. Small but powerful with an outstanding active sub-woofer and a host of settings to meet your needs. Go for it you won`t be sorry.
PS. One point to note however it only has an optical digital link (sometimes known as a Toslink) not a co-axial link. If your dvd player doesn`t have an optical digital output eg the lg 3200 then forget it.

Cheers snafu for the reply. One more question though, if I connect it to my LG 3350 thru the optical link can I then receive both DD5.1 and DTS (depending on the DVD) sound thru the speakers? Thanks again.

i have this piece of kit as well,can not believe the sound excellent. i also picked this kit up for £268 including delivery U want be disappointed.

unbeatable.co.uk has it for £265 + £8 p+p. Now tempted myself looking at the initial feedback. Have heard good things about the Digitheatre models, but the DTS version is nearer £370 and pretty ugly.

how come on all the ads for this sound system that i have seen it doesnt say that it is DTS only DD?
i assume from what i read here it is indeed DTS but it just made me wonder

Sorry to be so behind. But whats does it include exactly, is it an amp and speakers that i can plugin my tv dvd and video through?

The HTK 215 can handle DTS as well as the bog standard Dolby Digital and Pro Logic.
The kit itself comprises of the amp itself which you connect (via an optical link) to the DVD, 5 satellite speakers (2 front, 1 centre and 2 rear) in addition to a smart silver box which is the subwoofer.
I bought one on Monday, and it is excellent value for money.
And yes, there are outputs from the amp to TV, video and external audio devices (again through an optical link for the latter).
