Quite a few around now, and the prices are dropping..Maplins do one for £59-it`s in their latest offer booklet. If you are on Maplin Mail, you can probably get a fiver off that with their coupons.

Check out the newer models from Toshiba and Pioneer, I`m sure I saw somehere that they played Divx.

This one certainly does Pioneer DV575A :http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.cfm/Product_ID/1951
along with mp3 DVD Audio and SACD - nice price too.

Since adding this post I have done a further search and the Toshiba SD340E player is DIVX and Xvid compatible as well, under £80!!

Might be cheaper elsewhere just couldn`t be bothered searching any further.

go to http://www.scan.co.uk/ and do a search for DIVX DVD players.

They have a few to choose from at very reasonable prices.

They are based in Bolton (near Boltons Reebok Football Stadium)

I recently bought a Yamada 6600 from Ebuyer, cost about 60 quid. Plays DivX and Xvid, and the firmware is easily flash upgradable for future proofing. Also, multi region out of the box, no hack required. Very happy with it so far.

Lots of info about the player here
