Whats the best deal for a JVC DRM 10 DVD RECORDER?

What do you recommend?
I am after a standalone DVD Recorder which records -R, -RW & and ahs a "firewire in "port,"S-VHS in "port.
Able to play photo cd would be nice, but essentail.

To be honest,I don`t follow the Firewire port options on dvdr.But Pioneer will offer 1 or 2 with it.And most will offer s-video through Scart only,although most will have a separate s-video input on the FRONT for temporary use.Depends why you want one.If its for recording from STB or svhs video then a Scart on the back will do,but if its for camcorder or similar then one with it on the front will do.The very affordable discontinued Pioneers have Scart and svideo inputs on the back,but don`t have RGB.If you use Sky+,then s-video via Scart should suffice and be good enough,although not quite as perfect as RGB.If you have standard digibox,non RGB machines should not be considered

I paid a total of £213 for a JVC DRM10, delivery and some RAM disks from Cramptonandmore on eBay.
I love it to bits (except it wont change channels on my NTL STB, but then again, none of them will)

I am pretty sure it does not have RGB.Take a look at the specs on JVC`s or another site
