what players for between £200-£250 give the best picture?
i don`t have a prog scan compatable tv so that`s not an issue, not overly worried about dvd-a or sacd either just the picture

these days most players will give a good picture with a reasonable tv but mostly depends on the quality of the software ie dvd? video? the dvd player i have is a hyundai which is quite a good make i`ve had no problems with it at all and i even have a region free code on it and it`s 1 year old my vcr however is older about 4 years old it is a sanyo and both are hooked up to a schnider tv. by scart connections
