Don`t think so as it doesn`t recognise CDR`s
If someone knows otherwise I would be happy to know about it :o)

Yes it can playback MP3`s cut onto a cd-rom. The trick is to find a brand that the 511 can read. I found, (by accident), that the intenso 700Mb cd`s work fine.
I have not tried multiple directories or variable bit rate MP3`s, but i`ll get back to you.
