just recieved e-mail from lg saying next batch of deliveries to dabs
will be 2-3 week`s time is it worth the wait or should i go for the aiwa
which has been held back for me
not realy intrested in 5-1DD
but i am intrested in vcd [i know the 3350 can be hacked but is that only
original pressed vcd`s as with the 3000e which the hack works but got no original mp3

is picture quality much diffrent between aiwa 370 & lg3350
is the sound much diffrent

i hope you can help as i am now sick as a chip in a frying pan

I HATE DABS

I`ve had this player on order from them since the 15th of Janurary and in all of this time they haven`t contacted me once to inform me of further delays which have happened all along.

Someone please answer this thread so that I can buy an Awia and not give dabs my money.

Picture is identical, using the same decoder board, 2 channel sound is the same, as is digital out, but the LG can link to a 5.1 capable amp as it has an on board decoder.

Nope, the LG happily handles CDR and CDRW

Well, the LG has the 5.1 decoder, the Aiwa doesn`t. Both will play VCD/MP3 from CDR/CDRW but the Aiwa has "Playback Control" switching, the LG does not (yet).
However, the LG does have disc condition memory, so it can pick up where it left off on up to 15 titles (handy little one that!)

Well, hope that melts the fat a little.

One other point. It`s subjective, but the majority of peeps think the Aiwa looks far better than the LG. Having been on Troll`s forum, you`ll know by now I actually have BOTH an Aiwa 370 and an LG 3350!

But I still like my Aiwa`s looks better...just wanted that damned macro mod...which is still crap!!
