Page 1 of ANY NICE LITTLE HACKS FOR THE PS2?

Has any 1 got any i say any hardware hacks or little secrets for the PS2?
These may be to unlock or reveal hidden stuff!
eg. Region hack / VCD Hack / PS one games running at higher res. / or anything at all

i know one . you get your ps2 and some pliers and a soldering iron, then you rip it apart until there is nothing left. what the hell did you buy a ps2 for! you even have the nerve to come into a DVD forum, the ps2 is crrappppp.

Try http://duplicator.modshack.co.uk. Site sometimes gets moved, but I think he might have something.

You would need a chip that`ll allow CDR backups and other nation games to run, but I believe you need an Action Replay cart too, and it has to be a version 1.3!!

However, the chip doesn`t make it multi region, but this`d be a bit pointless anyway as the PS2 can`t convert the NTSC output, so a multi standard telly would be required.

Oh, and Boris? With posts like that, I`d keep an eye open for Clayts...he might just get miffed!!
The PS2 isn`t a very good DVD player, but it IS a DVD player, so why not post to a DVD forum??
There`s also thousands of them sold in the UK alone, so expect more people to ask about them!!
