Please can anyone with knowledge help me, I am a complete Technophobe - i have trouble switching my pc on etc. But at the weekend my hi fi broke and instead of buying a new system i was now thinking of getting one of the above systems ie CD+Radio+DVD+Great sound system - true or false. And if true which one would you recommend? at the moment i have a sony w/s tv so will the sony be better compatability wise? Basically is this the best way forward?

I have a sony 32FX60 tv and a davs300 which is superb. Great sound and very easy to set up and use The only thing against the s300 is that it will not play CDR`s. The Sony can also play DTS soundtracks which I know the Panny can`t, other than that I can`t comment on the Panny or Pioneer but I am sure someone here will!
