Widescreen Tellies With Picture In Picture..
Well, I`m getting ready to take the plunge and go widescreen..I currently have a very nice 28 inch Schnieder 4:3 set that has 3 scarts and Picture In Picture. I could just about get by without 3 scarts (Though 2 would be an absolute minimum) but I do really want ot keep the P-I-P function.
So , anyone point me to any 28 inch or 32 inch sets with this built in? Not bothered about it having twin tuners-as long as it can display P-I-P from the scarts, that would be fine. Not bothered about names or brands.

My old Philips W/S has twin tuners with PiP, and i know new models in their range have them too. Not very cheap though if you are after a bargain.

Not that bothered about twin tuners, just being able to monitor the scart connections would be fine..My Scneider 28 inch 4:3 does that much!!

Hi EmilyHoward
I bought a Panasonic TX28PB50 in August last year.
I LOVE it !!
3 x Scarts (AV1,2,& 4)
AV1 & 4 support rGB
Composite/Svideo on the front (AV3)
2 x Optical video inputs, which can be tied to any AV imput
PIP - 1/2 and 1/2, or window on the screen, which is movable ( 4 corners)
PIP will allow text as well - so text on one side, picture on the other - not sure why this is useful, but it`s fun !
Dobly Digital sound - rear speakers supplied.
I bought mine from here: http://www.robertwhyteltd.co.uk/shop2/wide/pan_tx28PB50.htm, with a 5 year warranty !
They deliver to all of the UK.
Good Luck

Thanks for that Sean....Nice feature set, bit it is more than I`d be looking to spend-especially for a 28 inch set. I`m looking at this purchase as being a stop gap one until Plasma/LCD sets come into the realms of sensible pricing (And the product improves..not seen a plasma picture I`ve liked yet!!), so I`m not going to break the bank on it...
