My uncle got the yamanda all in one from ebuyer last year. He was pretty pleased with it.

For less than a ton its not skywalker ranch, but it does the job.

Aw, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent.
Forty percent of all people know that.

hmmm, well if you live in the North and have a Lidl near you you could team up their 5.1 speaker system Typhoon (£40) with something like the Akura ($30) from various supermarkets (definately Somerfields maybe others). I don`t know about the Typhoon but the Akura is very good (but read other posts in this and the hardware forum and make up your own mind)

I`m sure I`ve seen a complete Bush system for well under £100 somewhere, maybe Woolworths. ASDA may have something for under £100.

I notice Curries have the Toshiba SD-43HK on their web site for £100 it`s out of stock on the web site but as it doesn`t say it`s a web special you might be able to get it from a local store. It cost more than double that at Dixons.

I saw a Bush system quoted at another forum:-

Quote:
I was in Safeways in Ayrshire yesterday and spotted this mega bargain.

Bush DVD player and 5.1 home cinema speaker setup for £59.99.

Although Bush has a fairly good name, the quality is probably not that great for £60 but might be be ok for a spare room or a very generous gift to a poor relative!?
There were no follow-up replies so maybe this wasn`t nationwide..?

Hi pavlovspooch, off-topic but anyway... Amazon have their Woody Allen sale again, however this time all DVDs range from £5.97 - £7.97. Yesterday, I tried www.fopp.co.uk and couldn`t search to find Woody Allen.

It`s only a point of view...

WH Smith had one down £35 in their recent sale, I bought this as a spare and its a real bargain. The make was Technosonic. Might be worthwhile checking your local WH Smiths just in case they have any left.

The Bush system was nationwide, multiregion with a hack too. Bought one for my sons birthday in the Greenock store. I paid £79, so at £59 its a good deal.

Also bought the Yamada from E buyer last year, got this in the lounge.

The Bush system I was thinking about is available from Richersounds here for £89.95 but I`m pretty sure you can get it for less. They also have a Limitsystem for £10 less. Both are multi-region Factory Repacks.

Re Woody Allen please see a separate post I`ve just made "Woody Allen bargins"
