I have just got the latest issue of `What Hi Fi` magazine and the E85 has come out on top. The E55 also gets a 5 star rating as wll as Sony`s GX7.

Yep saw it, as I subscribe to that Magazine, the 85 has got me salivating,pity I only knew about it after I bought the 55 (which also got a 5 star rating) As I rate What Hi`s opinions just as well as the contributors to this forum (which is sky high!) I`m pretty chuffed that I have bought the 55. Now If could just know how to use it........

I`ve had my E85 since the weekend. My first DVD recorder so I have nothing to compare it to, but I`m really really REALLY pleased with it so far. :D I`ve been sifting through old VHS "tapes off the telly" from years ago and archiving them on DVD-R (the space I`m going to free up!). Wonderfully straight forward. :)
