Page 1 of Recommend? Portable TV with built in DVD player?

Hi all, we need a portable TV for our kitchen, so I was going to get one with a built in DVD player, mainly for the Kids DVDs (Fimbles, Tweeneis, Hi-5 etc. etc.).

Can anybody recommend one, hopefully one that is multi-region? I have a few (Finding Nemo etc. that are region 1 of theirs).

Tesco have some. Some look quite decent. Don`t know about multi region though.

It`s unlucky for you that you didn`t ask this question a week ago , as this was last weekend`s hot bargain , but is now sold out. As the thread shows , the Bush DVD142 combo is multi region out ouf the box. If you read through the thread , I think you will see some other retailers which may have it , or a similar model (Goodmans at Index for about £100 is one which is mentioned).
The same set , without the (rubbish) films , is also available at Argos , for quite a bit more money unfortunately (and watch the `may be substituted` clause).

The LODOS model in most Sainsbury`s - £99, multi region and MP3 compatible. Excellent machine.

Just bought one of these LODOS from Sainsubury`s, Monk Cross in York.

£99.99, up and running in about 10 mins (includes time with help from my 4 and 2 year olds!)

Picture and general TV seems fine, very OK.

Multiregion out of the box! Even though it shows region 2 symbol on the packaging! Region 1 Finding Nemo playing now, no problems!

I recommend 100%
